7. iFrames

Without prior written approval and permission, you may not create frames around our web pages that alter in any way the visual presentation or appearance of our Website.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

  • Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other Google marketing or analytics tools

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and custom audiences

These services may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

Information collected can include IP addresses, device identifiers, browser type, referring pages, visited pages, and actions taken on the Website. This information is typically used in aggregated or pseudonymous form.

Your choices may include:

  • Managing cookies through your browser settings

  • Using ad preference tools offered by Google, Meta, or other providers (when available)

  • Adjusting device-level settings (for example, “Limit Ad Tracking” on mobile devices)

Nothing in our advertising or marketing materials is a guarantee of specific results, income, or outcomes. Any testimonials or examples are illustrative only and do not promise or imply that you will achieve the same results.

11. Affiliate Program Terms

Ministry Institute operates an affiliate program (the “Affiliate Program”) to allow approved partners (“Affiliates”) to promote our products and services and earn commissions on qualifying purchases.

Participation in the Affiliate Program is optional. If you participate, this section applies in addition to these Terms and any separate Affiliate Program terms we may provide.

11.1 Platform and Tracking

  • Our Affiliate Program is managed through systeme.io, which provides tracking links, cookies, and reporting.

  • When a visitor clicks your affiliate link, systeme.io may use cookies and its own tracking mechanisms to associate that contact with your affiliate profile.

  • Commission credit is based on systeme.io’s tracking and records. If a user blocks cookies, clears cookies, uses a different device, or otherwise prevents tracking, the sale may not be attributed to you.

We are not responsible for tracking failures or discrepancies outside our reasonable control or arising from systeme.io’s platform or the end user’s browser/device settings.

11.2 Enrollment and Eligibility

  • You must create an affiliate account and agree to any additional terms presented in the affiliate sign-up process or on our Affiliates page.

  • We reserve the right to approve or reject any affiliate application for any lawful reason.

  • We may suspend or terminate your affiliate status at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, any Affiliate Program terms, or any applicable laws or advertising policies.

11.3 Commissions and Payouts

Details such as commission rates, payout thresholds, payout schedules, and eligible products are communicated through:

  • Your systeme.io affiliate dashboard; and/or

  • Our Affiliate Program information page or written materials.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Commissions are calculated on the net value of qualifying purchases (excluding taxes, fees, discounts, refunds, and chargebacks).

  • Commissions for subscription products may be recurring for as long as the referred customer’s subscription remains active and in good standing, subject to our then-current Affiliate Program rules.

  • No commissions are paid on orders that are refunded, charged back, fraudulent, or otherwise deemed ineligible under the Affiliate Program terms.

We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commissions that we believe were generated in violation of these Terms or through fraudulent, misleading, or non-compliant methods.

11.4 Prohibited Affiliate Conduct

As an Affiliate, you agree that you will not:

  • Use spam, unsolicited emails, or deceptive practices to promote our products.

  • Make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about Ministry Institute, our programs, or potential results.

  • Violate any advertising platform’s policies, including Google’s and Meta’s rules regarding misleading content, prohibited targeting, and income claims.

  • Bid on our branded terms or domain names in paid search without our written permission.

  • Impersonate Ministry Institute, our staff, or represent yourself as our employee or official agent.

  • Promote our products on websites or media containing illegal, hateful, or adult content.

We may interpret and enforce these rules in our reasonable discretion.

11.5 Relationship of the Parties

Affiliates are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms or the Affiliate Program creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between you and Ministry Institute.

11.6 Changes to the Affiliate Program

We may modify or discontinue the Affiliate Program, including commission rates, payout schedules, and eligibility requirements, at any time.

Where reasonably possible, we will notify Affiliates by updating the affiliate dashboard or sending a notice by email. Your continued participation after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

12. Refund Policy for Digital Products

We value our customers and are committed to providing high-quality digital products. Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are available only under the conditions below.

12.1 Technical Issues

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The digital product you purchased is defective or inaccessible due to technical issues beyond your control; and

  • You provide reasonable documentation of the issue (such as error messages or screenshots); and

  • You confirm that you have followed all provided troubleshooting steps (for example, those listed on our support page and any additional steps given by our support team).

Refund requests for technical issues must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

12.2 Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your payment method was used without your authorization:

  • Contact us and your payment provider immediately.

  • We may require proof such as bank statements or correspondence with your payment provider.

  • Refunds will be issued only upon verification of the claim.

12.3 Failure to Deliver

If you do not receive access to the digital product after a successful purchase, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may request a refund.

12.4 Non-Refundable Situations (Digital Products)

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.

  • Incompatibility with your device, browser, or software, unless the product was explicitly advertised as compatible and our product fails to meet that representation.

  • Products that have already been downloaded, accessed, or substantially used, except in cases of technical issues or failure to deliver as described above.

12.5 Refund Process (Digital Products)

To request a refund:

  1. Contact our support team at support@ministryinstitute.org with your order details, description of the issue, and any supporting documentation.

  2. We typically process refund requests within 5–10 business days after receiving all necessary information.

  3. We reserve the right to assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis and to deny requests that do not meet the conditions outlined above.

13. Refund Policy for Temporary Physical Products

From time to time, we may offer temporary physical products (for example, printed materials or merchandise associated with our events or programs).

13.1 Defective or Damaged Products

You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:

  • The product you receive is defective or damaged; and

  • You notify us within 7 days of receiving the product; and

  • You provide reasonable evidence of the defect or damage (e.g., photos).

13.2 Incorrect Product Received

If you receive the wrong product:

  • You may request a refund or replacement if you notify us within 7 days of delivery; and

  • The product must generally be returned in its original, unused condition (unless the defect or our error makes that impossible).

13.3 Product Not Delivered

If your product does not arrive within the expected shipping timeframe, you may contact us to initiate an investigation. Refund eligibility in such cases may depend on verification with the shipping carrier and the outcome of that investigation.

13.4 Non-Refundable Situations (Physical Products)

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Products that have been used or are not in their original condition (unless they arrived defective or damaged).

  • Change of mind after purchase.

  • Refund requests made outside the 7-day window from receipt of the product.

13.5 Refund Process (Physical Products)

  1. Contact our support team at support@ministryinstitute.org with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting documentation (e.g., photos of damage).

  2. If your request is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product, if applicable. Returned items must typically be shipped within 7 days of receiving return instructions.

  3. Refunds are usually processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned product or verifying the issue.

  4. If the refund is due to a defect, damage, or incorrect product, we generally cover reasonable return shipping costs. For other returns, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

14. Cancellation Policy for Digital Products and Subscriptions

We aim to provide a clear and fair cancellation framework for digital products and subscriptions.

14.1 Subscription Cancellations by Customer

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

  • No prorated refunds are provided for the remainder of the billing period.

14.2 Trial Periods

If your subscription includes a trial period:

  • You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

  • Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the standard cancellation terms apply.

14.3 Monthly or Annual Subscriptions

  • You may cancel an annual subscription at any time.

  • Access typically remains active until the end of the current paid term.

  • No refunds are provided for unused months unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise in a specific offer.

14.4 Upgrades and Downgrades

If you upgrade or downgrade your subscription:

  • The new plan may take effect at the start of the next billing cycle by default.

  • If you request immediate changes, we may accommodate at our discretion, and any billing adjustments will be handled according to the specific terms communicated at the time.

14.5 One-Time Digital Purchases

One-time digital purchases (non-subscription) are generally non-cancelable once the product has been delivered (for example, downloaded or accessed), except in cases described in the Refund Policy for Digital Products.

14.6 Pre-Orders

You may cancel a pre-order at any time before the product is released. Once the product is delivered, it is treated as a standard one-time purchase.

14.7 Company-Initiated Cancellations

We may cancel your access to digital products or subscriptions if:

  • You violate these Terms, any applicable policy, or any applicable law; or

  • We discontinue a product or subscription service.

If we cancel due to your violation, refunds may not be provided. If we discontinue a product or service, we may offer a prorated refund or alternative remedy, as appropriate.

15. Payment Security and PCI Compliance

We prioritize the security of your payment information and are committed to handling it in accordance with industry standards.

15.1 PCI Compliance

  • We use reputable third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) that are certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

  • Your payment information is processed securely by the payment processor and is not stored on our servers.

For details on how Stripe or another processor handles security and compliance, please refer to that provider’s documentation.

15.2 Secure Transactions

  • Our Website and payment forms use HTTPS encryption to help protect data transmitted between your browser and our server.

  • Payment processors may use tokenization or similar methods so that sensitive card data is replaced with a secure token for processing, rather than passing raw card numbers through our systems.

15.3 Data Privacy

  • We only collect and retain the minimum information needed to complete your transaction and provide support (for example, name, email address, and transaction details).

  • Payment card details entered into our payment forms are sent directly to the payment processor and are not visible to our staff or stored on our servers.

15.4 Customer Responsibility

To help protect your account and information:

  • Use strong, unique passwords for your accounts.

  • Keep your login details private.

  • Notify us and your payment provider immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your payment method or account.

If you have questions about payment security, contact us at support@ministryinstitute.org.

  • Limit any of our or your liabilities in a way not permitted by applicable law.

  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Website, products, or services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific product or service at issue during the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain types of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ministry Institute and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of the Website, products, or services;

19. Changes to These Terms
